About

Meet
Kevin.

I am originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico. Moving from the island to Nashville came with a lot of nostalgia for home, my family, and the life I knew there.

Kevin Santana — Founder & Organizer

How it started

It began with my own apartment.

I started making small changes to my own place, bringing pieces of that familiarity into my new home and creating a space that felt personal, peaceful, and grounded.

I have always been passionate about decorating and interior aesthetics, and I believe our surroundings have a real impact on how we feel. As friends and family spent time in my home, they started asking me to help with theirs.

That is when I realized what I enjoyed went beyond making a space look good. I loved helping people make their homes feel peaceful again. That idea eventually became Clara Luz.

The idea

I don't want to organize for you. I want to organize with you.

Kevin Santana

Background

My work has always been about people.

I hold a Bachelor of Science and started my career as a tour guide in Puerto Rico. After moving to Nashville, I worked in youth development, helping Black and Latinx students access college and other opportunities after high school. Today I work as a paraprofessional educator in a life skills program.

Each of these experiences has taught me how important it is to listen, understand what someone needs, and work alongside them rather than assume I know what is best for them. That same approach is at the heart of Clara Luz.

How I work

With you, not for you.

I am not coming into your home to tell you what you should get rid of, or to make your space look like everyone else's. I want to understand how you live, what makes you feel comfortable, and what peace looks like for you.

Together we can create practical systems that make sense for your life, and that you feel confident maintaining long after our work is done.

Why it matters

Your everyday space deserves to feel good, too.

To me, organization is about more than having a neat home. It affects the way we experience our everyday lives.

Coming home after a long, exhausting day should not feel like walking into another responsibility. Rest should not be something we only experience when we finally get a week away.

Clara Luz is about creating that feeling in a way that is personal, practical, and true to you.

What clients say

“I have opened the pantry every day for three months and it still looks the way she left it. That is the part I did not expect.”

Meredith H. · Green Hills

“We closed on a Thursday and slept in a finished house on Friday. No boxes. None.”

Daniel & Priya R. · Franklin

“Kevin never once made me feel bad about the state of the garage. We filled a truck and I did not feel a thing.”

Tom W. · Brentwood

“My six-year-old puts her own toys away now. I genuinely did not think that was possible.”

Ashley K. · East Nashville

The method

Simple enough to survive a busy week.

A system fails when it asks too much of you on your worst day. So we build for the worst day.

01

Consultation

Free, in your home or over video. We walk the space, listen to how you live in it, and tell you what we would do.

No charge, no obligation.
02

The plan

A written plan with a fixed price, a session count and a shopping list. You know the number before we start.

Usually within 48 hours.
03

The work

We edit, sort and build together. You make the keep-or-go calls; we handle everything after that.

Donations leave the same day.
04

The handover

We walk you through the system, leave the labels, and check back at 60 days to tune what drifted.

Included in every project.
